Saint Anphisa (formerly <unk> Anfusa) was a nun who traveled to the Mantean countries of Asia in the 8th century. Leaving her parents' home, she traveled first alone, in caves. After meeting Elder Sisinius, she continued her adventures under his guidance and was so successful in spiritual life that 90 virgins entrusted themselves to her guidance.
